Paul Guten

Foundation President
I believe in the healing power of strong community and unconditional support.

With a commitment to spiritual and emotional well-being, I am passionate about the Providence Farm Family and its recent growth. Actively involved in Providence Farm for the past three years, I look forward to watching the community grow, evolve, and succeed for many more years to come.

Professionally, I am a partner at an IT Consulting Company. I spend as much time in nature as possible – golfing, skiing, meditating, and walking my two dogs. Most of all, I enjoy relaxing with my wife and three sons. Though I have been living on the north shore for the past fifteen years, I will always be a Cheesehead and dedicated Brewers, Bucks and Packers fan.
I am committed to empowering the men of Providence Farm to thrive in a safe, sober community. It is an honor to serve on the board and I look forward to making an impact with your support.

Leslie Katz

Foundation Treasurer
As a math teacher, I am excited to use my number skills as treasurer of the Providence Foundation.

“Be happy, be healthy, be fulfilled, live with ease” has been my mantra.  Being out in nature, music and eating good food are the things that fill my soul.  I am a yogi, a mother to four kids and a person who tries to face challenges with an open heart and mind (which doesn’t always come easily to me)!  Living a yogic lifestyle, including eating well, practicing compassion and kindness towards all living things – including myself – and meditating each day are important to me.

I am so incredibly honored and excited to be part of the Providence Farm community! I can be contacted at Leslie@pfcommunity.org

Barbara Eichenlaub

Foundation Secretary
“Recovery is about progress not perfection” remains my mantra.

I have lived in Wilmette for over 25 years with my husband, Ray, and our three grown sons. For 30 years, I have worked as an Executive Assistant to a North Shore family with many different responsibilities including preparing financial and tax data, managing multiple homes and offices, paying office and home employees, coordinating travel and expenses for both the business and the family. These are just some of the balls I juggle every day in addition to whatever additional surprises pop up.

In my free time, I enjoy sharing my love of healthy cooking, crafting, cycling and long walks. I actively participate in Families Anonymous and lend support to individuals or families with loved ones struggling with addiction and mental health in their lives.

I feel our community is very fortunate to have Providence Farm as a steppingstone to young men on their road to recovery. I am honored and excited to put my personal story and professional skills to work for Providence Farm and the families seeking to restore health and happiness to their lives.
