Julie Shaw

Foundation President
After many years of social work practice in a therapeutic day school, I put my clinical work on hold to be home with my husband, Mike and our kids, now 12, 9 and 7- (and don't forget Lucy-the-dog!).

I’m excited to be part of building a North Shore community that invests in all of our young people, in my community. The spirit of a compassionate community resonates with the values I wish to share with my own family.

I love to play tennis, exercise, read, travel and I have a weakness for reality shows (don’t judge me!) I’m super organized and love people, so I’m so excited to head up the Providence Foundation. I am most passionate about the opportunity to help families who need extra financial support to access top-notch recovery support in the community they call home.

If you are interested in donating to the Providence Foundation (a non-profit 501(c) 3), please contact me at julie@pfcommunity.org

Thank you for the loving support of our incredible PF community!

Leslie Katz

Foundation Treasurer
As a math teacher, I am excited to use my number skills as treasurer of the Providence Foundation.

“Be happy, be healthy, be fulfilled, live with ease” has been my mantra.  Being out in nature, music and eating good food are the things that fill my soul.  I am a yogi, a mother to four kids and a person who tries to face challenges with an open heart and mind (which doesn’t always come easily to me)!  Living a yogic lifestyle, including eating well, practicing compassion and kindness towards all living things – including myself – and meditating each day are important to me.

I am so incredibly honored and excited to be part of the Providence Farm community! I can be contacted at Leslie@pfcommunity.org

Jodi Levin

Foundation Secretary
I love spending time with my family and friends, playing games, long walks and good food.

I began my career as a CPA for Ernst & Young in downtown Chicago before joining the law firm of Sidley Austin LLP where I worked in the Strategic Planning/Financial Analysis group. After 10 years, I left Corporate America to stay home with my husband and three children.

I am excited to put my organizational skills to work for Providence Farm as the Foundation Secretary and look forward to working with the Providence Farm family.

I can be reached at jodi@pfcommunity.org.
