Mentor

I came to Providence Farm in 2019 with Peter Pan Syndrome. I didn’t want to grow up, but at the same time, my life was a mess. I was using substances, and my use was out of my control.  I was depressed, lonely, and spiritually bankrupt, using drugs and alcohol, but I didn’t know how to stop or if I even wanted to.  Providence Farm took me in and gave me the soft landing and accountability I needed to grow up and move forward in my life.

The community is everything here at Providence Farm. It’s what sets PF apart from most other sober livings/treatment programs.  Each time a new member joins the PF family, the community opens it arms with warmth, mentorship, and accountability.  For me, these were the building blocks to find long-term recovery.  Through my sobriety, I’ve been able to pursue my passion in art and attain my dream job as a tattoo artist. I feel so grateful to do something that I love, and I know that without Providence Farm, especially the relationships with my mentors, I would not be where I am today.

I am honored to come back to Providence Farm as a mentor and provide the same support to new residents that was so helpful to me in my early days.
