Mitch McPherson

Mentor

Hi, my name is Mitch McPherson. I am a past resident, now live-in mentor, at Providence Farm.

I have learned through my own path of recovery that building connections and community is one of the foundations to staying sober, and I am so happy to be able to do that here at PF.

Early recovery can be challenging, and I am grateful to be able to help our residents overcome adversity and see how full a life in sobriety can be.

I was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. I am now 27 years old and am a student of history and enjoy music, movies, and books. I write and publish my own articles about the Pacific Theater of World War Two. I also play guitar and enjoy the great outdoors.

When I am not hanging out around the community, I am engaging with my passions and enjoying a life I could not before sobriety and Providence Farm.
